Horse Transportation

We offer short and longer haul options for horses and small farm animals.   Your horse will be in experienced hands from the farm pickup to the delivery at your destination.   Services can be for barn to barn moves, mares going to be bred or going home, trips to the vet for on site services, or transport to or from a sale.  Check out the Information page for details and requirements.

F.A.Q.

Please call, text or email if we can help answer any questions.

Are coggins tests required?

A current negative coggins test, within the last 12 months, is required to transport horses, ponies, donkeys or mules across state lines.   The proof of coggins must travel with your horse.

Within the state of Wisconsin, it may be required at the new facility, but is not required for transportation.

What is a health certificate?

Your vet can issue a health certificate for your animal.  Health certificates are only good for 30 days.   A health certificate (CVI Certificate of Veterinarian Inspection) is needed to transport your horse across state lines.  It must accompany your horse on the trip.

Do you provide Hay and Water during the trip?

We stop to offer water every 2-4 hours, depending on the trip and a safe stopping area.  We ask that you provide hay that your horse is accustomed to eating to avoid the stress of travel and changing their hay diet.

Do you provide mortality insurance?

No, we carry transportation insurance, but the owner is responsible for any mortality insurance needed.

Are leg wraps required?

Leg wraps are not required.  It is your personal preference.  We will not wrap your horses legs.  If a leg wrap comes off, we can not re-wrap it.
